Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021 and will play its fifth season in 2025. Austin FC plays its home matches at Q2 Stadium, a 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art stadium which earned certification as a zero-waste venue. Austin FC sold out all 70 MLS home matches it played at Q2 Stadium during its first fourth season in the league, including two MLS Cup Playoff matches in 2022 as the team reached the Western Conference Final.
Austin FC is actively seeking full-time Maintenance Technician who will work with the Facilities team to assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of Q2 Stadium and St. David’s Performance Center. This position will also assist during events to include set up and repairs to create and above and beyond environment for every guest at Q2 Stadium.
This position will be based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person based out of Q2 Stadium.

You Will:
· Assist in managing building and equipment maintenance schedules; and
· Respond to maintenance calls; and
· Responsible for general upkeep, maintenance, and installation including but not limited to painting, carpentry, ceiling repairs, plumbing, various installations (tv mounts, picture frames), drywall patching, furniture assembly, etc; and
· Assist with regular checks and troubleshooting of tv’s, led signage, touch screens, video boards, equipment cabling connectivity; and
· Assist with in-event MEPT systems troubleshooting for all Q2 Stadium events; and
· Assist in supervision of 3rd party vendors and contractors as it relates to facility needs, including but not limited to maintenance projects, MEP preventative maintenance, and general repairs while ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA and other work site safety standards; and
· Assist in the management of the CMMS and the detailed records of projects, PM’s, inspections, and work orders; and
· Regularly review, identify, report, and execute on potential opportunities for improvements in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction; and
· Assist when required with general setup and tear down activities as it relates to events and meetings; and
· Assist in development and management of standard operations procedures (SOP) and general documented guidelines for cross-functional process improvements; and
· Support and manage events and projects at Q2 Stadium and St. David’s Performance Center as requested or necessary. This would include potential MOD assignments (onsite support) for specific events
You Have:
· Experience within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry preferred
· Ability of operating hand and power tools
· Carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting knowledge preferred
· Electrical experience is a plus
· Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours
· Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time
· Ability to work in various degrees of outdoor weather conditions, including but not limited to, extreme heat or rain
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Technical or prior field experience in maintenance or facilities a plus
