Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021, and in the 2025 season qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs while also reaching and hosting the final of the U.S. Open Cup. Austin FC plays its home matches at Q2 Stadium, a 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art stadium which earned certification as a zero-waste venue in 2024. Austin FC sold out all 88 MLS home matches it played at Q2 Stadium during its first five season in the league, including three home MLS Cup Playoff matches.
Austin FC is actively seeking a driven and curious Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Strategy team, which supports data management, reporting, and analytics across the organization. This role is built for emerging analysts who are excited to learn quickly, build trusted relationships, and turn data into clear recommendations that help teams make better decisions.
This position is based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person based out of Austin FC’s business office.

You Will:
· Serve as a data and analytics resource across the organization, partnering with departments like Marketing, Ticketing, and Partnerships to understand their questions, translate them into clear requirements, and deliver analysis, reports, and answers that support better decision-making; and
· Support CRM operations and strategy, working directly in Salesforce to manage data hygiene, build and refine audience segments, and help maintain a clean and reliable fan database; and
· Contribute to marketing and campaign execution, including working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support email communications, measuring campaign performance, and help improve how we reach and engage our fanbase; and
· Help analyze fan and audience data — including survey results, demographic information, and engagement signals — to surface practical insights around fan behavior, revenue opportunities, and audience growth; and
· Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that turn data into clear, actionable visuals for stakeholders across the business — and serve as the point of contact when they have questions about what they're seeing; and
· Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and explore data in support of ad hoc requests and ongoing reporting needs, with comfort working at a basic to intermediate level across joined tables, filters, and aggregations; and
· Use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to support and accelerate your work, while applying your own critical thinking to validate outputs and maintain a strong understanding of the business needs.

You Have:
· Bachelor's degree required
· Some exposure to CRM platforms or customer data tools, with Salesforce experience strongly preferred
· Basic to intermediate SQL skills, with comfort pulling, joining, filtering, and validating data to support ad hoc requests and exploratory analysis
· Strong fundamentals in Excel or Google Sheets
· Some experience with reporting or dashboarding tools, with Power BI preferred
· Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences — including explaining what you did, what you found, and what you'd recommend next
· Experience with email marketing or marketing automation tools, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
· Experience with audience segmentation, campaign measurement, email performance reporting, or related marketing analytics work is a plus
· Familiarity with survey data or demographic datasets and comfort explaining findings to a non-technical audience
· English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
