Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019.  Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021, and in the 2025 season qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs while also reaching and hosting the final of the U.S. Open Cup. Austin FC plays its home matches at Q2 Stadium, a 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art stadium which earned certification as a zero-waste venue in 2024. Austin FC sold out all 88 MLS home matches it played at Q2 Stadium during its first five season in the league, including three home MLS Cup Playoff matches. 

Austin FC is actively seeking a driven and curious Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Strategy team, which supports data management, reporting, and analytics across the organization. This role is built for emerging analysts who are excited to learn quickly, build trusted relationships, and turn data into clear recommendations that help teams make better decisions.

This position is based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person based out of Austin FC’s business office.

You Will: 
·        Support CRM operations and analytics, including working directly in Salesforce environments (including Marketing Cloud), contributing to segmentation, campaign measurement, and data hygiene; and
·        Help analyze and interpret survey data (fan feedback and aggregated audience sources), translating findings into practical insights around engagement, demographics, and revenue opportunities; and
·        Assist with digital and audience analytics: supporting email communications measurement, paid advertising performance insights, funnel and journey analysis, fan profiling, and activation reporting; and
·        Create and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting (Power BI preferred; Tableau/Qlik/Looker also okay), with a strong focus on adoption, clarity, and consistent definitions; and
·        Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and transform data for ad-hoc analysis and repeatable reporting, and use R and/or Python when helpful for analysis and automation; and 
·        Contribute to a strong data foundation by supporting cloud and data platform workflows (Azure and Databricks), including basic monitoring of usage and costs and helping improve reliability, documentation, and repeatability; and 
·        Translate stakeholder questions into analysis plans: define the metric, confirm assumptions, validate outputs, and communicate results in a way that supports decision-making.

You Have:
·        Bachelor’s degree required
·        Salesforce experience in some capacity is required; Marketing Cloud experience is a plus
·        Working knowledge of SQL (comfort querying and joining tables, applying filters, validating results)
·        Strong fundamentals in Excel or Google Sheets
·        Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences, including explaining what you did, what you found, what it means, and what you recommend next
·        Power BI experience (preferred); or Tableau, Qlik, or Looker
·        R and/or Python exposure (analysis, automation, notebooks, or coursework) preferred, but not mandatory
·        Familiarity with cloud/data platforms (Azure, Databricks) 
·        Eagerness to learn new systems that will result in better outcomes for the organization 
·        Digital-adjacent technical creativity: Canva and/or Adobe tools; basic HTML/CSS; comfort working with marketing or app workflows
·        Experience with audience segmentation, funnel analysis, email performance reporting, paid media measurement, or experimentation concepts is preferred
·        Experience working with survey data and/or demographic datasets, and comfort explaining limitations, bias, and appropriate use is preferred
·        English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages – even better
