Bay FC is the first NWSL team in the Bay Area. Co-founded by four U.S. Women’s National Team legends—Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton, and Leslie Osborne—in partnership with global investment firm Sixth Street, Bay FC is changing the face of women’s soccer as we know it. Position Summary 
Bay FC is seeking a Ticket Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a driven, self-motivated, and passionate leader committed to developing the careers of young sales executives. The Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing and mentoring a team at BAFC. This full-time position reports to the Sr. Director, Ticket Sales and Service.  

Responsibilities 
  • Recruit, lead, motivate, develop, and retain sales team.  
  • Monitor, manage, and evaluate sales staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales and revenue and training goals and provide staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development.  
  • Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business. 
  • Identify, explore and research new sales opportunities to include season ticket and group sales target markets.  
  • Drive a culture of sales, service, and hospitality with the team.  
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Ticket Service and other department leaders.  
  • Track and report daily and weekly sales figures to the Sr. Director of Ticket Sales and Service. 
  • Participate in event day ticketing or customer service duties; always representing the organization and brand in a positive manner.  
  • Attend, contribute and participate in weekly ticketing leadership meetings. 

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in business or sports management.  
  • Minimum of 4+ years of successful sales experience (sports business a plus) 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to develop strong working relationships with employees, teammates, and other stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure 
  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and desire to grow professionally 
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment 
  • Skilled in analyzing data, developing concise recommendations and presenting to leadership 

 Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $65,000-$75,000 with a  with a potential bonus commission of $25,000. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
