Term: Spring Semester – USA Rugby (Lafayette, CO)
  • Interns must be eligible to receive college credit, or be satisfying an academic requirement, in order to be considered. This is a full-time, unpaid internship at 40 hours per week.

Overview:
The primary focus of this internship is to support and assist in the management of logistics and event specific operations related to USA Rugby hosted international matches and National Championship Series Events.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Support Events Department staff in the development and implementation of staff, volunteer, and event specific logistics
  • Manage event related inventory and shipping needs
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of event operational plans
  • Support in recruiting and organization of event volunteers and liaisons
  • Assist in the creation of sponsor signage schematics
  • Create after action reports and surveys for each event 
  • Contribute on research projects to identify vendors and partners for each event city
  • Office administrative tasks such as mailing, inventory, data entry, etc.
  • Respond to Events Department inquiries and provide information and resources as requested

Percentage of duties (estimated):
  • 50% – Event and initiative support
  • 20% – Customer service by email, phone, and in person contact
