Job Summary:

 The SEO Manager will be responsible for managing and developing all aspects of Search Engine Marketing activity (SEO/ASO/PPC) across selected US brands, TVG & Betair Casino NJ. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Customer Acquisition, the primary responsibility is to meet the agreed commercial and campaign demands of both brands. The SEO Manager will be responsible for devising and implementing an effective SEO strategy for both brands across all eligible States.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and Implement SEO & ASO strategies that drive growth and tangible ROI for selected brands.
  • Manage both on-page and off-page SEO for selected brands.
  • Manage, develop and implement all ASO activity for selected brands.
  • Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms and key racing events (TVG).
  • Full management and development of all Paid search activity/strategy across Google, Bing and Apple Search platforms.
  • Develop and Implement bespoke Apple Search strategy which will significantly drive growth, activity investment and tangible ROI for both brands.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO/ASO/PPC and major search engines. 
  • Leverage customer insights and analytics to continually optimize campaigns.
  • Manage internal and external agency partners/teams to effectively execute on marketing programs on time, on budget and with expected results. 
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development and link building activities in coordination with SEO goals general and keyword specific.
  • Continually innovate to drive improvement by leveraging the latest technologies. 
  • Develop reporting structure to show return on investment (ROI) of SEO & ASO activities and provide clear narrative on rankings fluctuations. 
  • Work closely with broader marketing team to support multi-channel traditional and digital campaigns. 
  • Personal experience of achieving high organic ranking. 
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be able to communicate effectively with 3rd parties and with all levels within the business.
  • Keeps informed of emerging trends in the SEO/ASO & PPC landscape.
Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5+ Years of SEM experience managing all aspects of SEO/ASO/PPC activity.
  • Proven and successful track record in the management & development of SEM activity and strategy in a previous role/company.
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates. 
  • Thorough working knowledge of all paid search advertising platforms: AdWords, AppleSearch, Bing etc. 
  • Acutely aware of the unique ‘gambling policy’ which impact’s both brands – Particularly around Paid Search and Google Platforms – AdWords.
  • Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools.  
  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization. 
  • Must have experience of working in a campaign management capacity in Internet Advertising and Marketing, Consumer E-commerce, and/or Direct Response Marketing with a focus on Online.
  • Track record of analyzing online issues and opportunities as well as providing and implementing recommendations to improve campaigns.
  • Strong analytical / reporting skills with the ability to make data-justified business decisions (a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Excel required)
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Webmaster Tools, SEM Rush etc. as well as internal reporting tools.
  • Personal experience of achieving high organic ranking.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be able to communicate effectively on various levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience Managing 3rd party vendor relationships. 
  • A Working understanding and/or experience of the Horseracing and Casino Industry.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Must be able to multi-task in a constantly changing environment. Requires the ability to meet pressure deadlines and time constraints.
