As an Associate Sales Representative, you will play an essential role in supporting a team of skilled sales professionals within a designated territory. Your contributions will be crucial in meeting sales targets and building strong client relationships. By spending valuable time in the field, you will gain insights into what it takes to become a Riddell Sales Professional, focusing on tasks that promote the growth of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)

Assist sales representative in daily in-field activities, including client meetings, product demonstrations, reconditioning pick-up, equipment fittings, and assit in presentations.
Help manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Support the sales team by preparing sales materials, and presentations as needed.
Help maintain a comprehensive client database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on all accounts.
Attend training sessions and sales meetings to enhance knowledge of our products and overall sales strategies.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
Perform administrative tasks related to sales operations, including order processing, follow-ups, and coordination.
Maintains strong relationships with sales managers and sales representatives to provide accurate and timely information resulting in improved team performance and customer satisfaction.
Continually maintains a thorough knowledge of all company products, catalog contents and any promotional items.
Performs other objectives as assigned by sales management.
Travels up to 80-90% within assigned territory.
May be required to work nights/weekends.
Communicate daily with team members and management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
Sufficient hand, eye, arm, and finger dexterity.
Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking while also performing repetitive tasks.
Prolonged periods of bending and/or twisting throughout a work shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or an equivalent combination of Education, Training, and related experience required.
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or related field desirable.
Knowledge of sports and the associated equipment used for each sport is preferred.
Sales experience in the sporting goods business desirable.
Proven track record of teamwork and working well with support resources to complete sales and to service customers.
Proficient with MS Office applications.
SAP experience desirable.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and car insurance and keep on record with the Human Resources Department.
Must provide own vehicle which is reliable and suitable to perform the required duties and tasks associated with the sales position.
Able to work in team locker rooms, gymnasiums, or similar locations as well as possibly in private homes or public places.
Willing to be mobile and embrace the opportunity to serve as a sales representative in any part of the country.
