Compensation: $17.75 per hour
This is a Seasonal Position: Our season will run from January 2026 to May 2026
Role and Responsibilities
The Game Day Operations Crew is responsible for a number of crucial tasks throughout the San Diego Mojo Game Day - supporting nearly every department from marketing to the coaches and players! You will get a comprehensive introduction to the inner workings of a professional sports organization through the following tasks on a rotational basis:
- Prepare locker rooms and benches for home and visiting teams at Viejas Arena
- Set up & break down sponsorship and sales signage and supplies
- Organize and distribute promotional materials to fans
- Inventory management
- Credentialing & press management
- Fan engagement set up during halftime, breaks, and t-shirt tosses
- Volleyball floor mopping
- Volleyball shagging
- Manage player autographs, fan photos, and meet & greets
- Assist with special events, like group hospitality and season member parties
- Set up & break down partner booths
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must be available to work at least (10) of the (14) home games between January and May 2026 - schedule HERE.
- Self-motivated, naturally resilient, and a positive attitude.
- Organized ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, integrity, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to move freely, pick up and quickly clean and chase volleyballs down, crouch, kneel, throw, toss, and push.
