Game Day Communications Assistants

This position will assist with all communication department needs pre, during and post-

game, assist with gathering post-game quotes and transcriptions as well as host

influencers and celebrity guests.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

Assist with media check-in and credential distribution
Create and post social media updates before, during, and after each game via all channels
Assist with media row and post-game interview room setup, stats distribution
Media Will Call and other logistical needs throughout game day.
Assist with broadcast network and radio set-up and stat distribution
Assist with managing media room and photo vest distribution
Gather post-game quotes from home and visiting teams
Transcribe post-game quotes
Serve as a host and escort for influencers and celebrity guests

Preferred Requirements:

Candidates must be able to attend all Mojo home games
Candidates must be able to transcribe
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
Candidates must always exhibit a professional attitude and work well in a team environment

Must be able to lift / push / carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to receive College Credit and have documentation to support.

About San Diego Mojo Professional Women’s Volleyball:

Founded in 2023, San Diego Mojo Professional Women’s Volleyball is one of seven teams (San Diego; Atlanta; Columbus, Ohio; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Las Vegas; Omaha, Neb.; and Orlando) to compete in the Pro Volleyball Federation’s inaugural season in 2024. Indianapolis joins the league to make eight (8) teams in 2025.
