A dynamic and experienced leader is sought to drive ticket sales initiatives for the Columbus Fury, a premier team in Major League Volleyball. The Senior Director of Ticket Sales will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, leading a dedicated team, and achieving ambitious revenue goals across season tickets, mini-plans, and group sales. This role requires a proven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and motivating a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from season tickets, partial plans, and group sales.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ticket sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and individual contributors, ensuring accountability and goal achievement.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and outreach to generate new business and cultivate existing relationships.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create compelling ticket packages and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee the accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities and pipeline management within a CRM system.
  • Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, and game days to promote ticket sales.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience for all ticket holders, from initial contact through post-purchase support.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive full-time ticket sales leadership experience within professional sports.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software; experience with ticketing systems like Archtics is a significant plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the sports schedule.
