Director of Ticket Sales

Position Summary
The Director of Ticket Sales is a senior leader responsible for maximizing all ticketing revenue streams for the Atlanta Vibe, including premium seating, season memberships, group sales, and single-game tickets. This role sets the vision, builds the systems, and leads a high-performing team to consistently hit—and surpass—revenue goals.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strategic sales leader with a proven record of driving revenue growth in sports or entertainment. This individual must blend sales expertise, operational discipline, and innovative thinking with outstanding leadership and collaboration skills.

Major Responsibilities

  • Build and execute an annual sales plan that delivers revenue growth across all ticketing categories
  • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the ticketing team, setting clear performance goals and coaching to results
  • Develop pricing, product mix, and inventory strategies that maximize revenue potential
  • Oversee all ticketing systems, reporting, and operations, including box office and game-day execution
  • Drive premium and group sales by cultivating strong corporate and community partnerships
  • Partner with marketing and community relations to align campaigns and grassroots initiatives with sales objectives
  • Design and implement retention strategies to strengthen season ticket and membership loyalty
  • Manage departmental budget, forecasts, and resources to ensure profitability
  • Consistently identify and act on new revenue opportunities

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive ticket sales leadership with proven success exceeding aggressive revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams
  • Strong expertise with ticketing systems, CRM platforms, and data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with a results-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and energized by hitting ambitious sales targets
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for sports and elevating fan experiences
