Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Ticket Sales Representative to join our sales team as Dallas' newest professional sports team builds its inaugural fanbase. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of launching a professional sports franchise while introducing the Dallas community to world-class women's volleyball. You will be responsible for driving season ticket sales, group packages, and single-game ticket revenue through proactive outbound sales, relationship building, and exceptional customer service that creates lifelong fans.

Key Responsibilities
Season Ticket Sales & Account Management
● Generate new season ticket sales through cold calling, email campaigns, and face-to- face meetings with prospective customers
● Conduct compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of women's professional volleyball and game day experience
● Build and maintain relationships with season ticket holders to ensure renewal rates and account growth opportunities
● Develop customized ticket packages that meet specific customer needs and budget requirements
● Follow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns, community events, and referral programs
● Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and sales activities in CRM system

Group Sales & Community Outreach
● Identify and pursue group sales opportunities including corporate outings, youth volleyball teams, schools, and community organizations
● Develop relationships with local businesses, sports leagues, and community groups to drive bulk ticket sales
● Create compelling group packages with added value elements such as pre-game activities, player meet-and-greets, and exclusive experiences
● Coordinate group sales logistics including seating arrangements, hospitality needs, and special requests
● Represent the team at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand awareness
● Partner with youth volleyball programs and clubs throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area to develop pipeline opportunities

Revenue Generation & Customer Experience
● Achieve and exceed monthly and seasonal sales targets for season tickets, group sales, and premium experiences
● Upsell customers to higher-value seating locations and package options through consultative sales approach
● Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key market segments including families, young professionals, and sports enthusiasts
● Process ticket orders, handle payment arrangements, and ensure seamless customer onboarding experience
● Coordinate with marketing team to maximize conversion of leads generated through digital campaigns and community outreach
● Provide exceptional customer service that transforms first-time buyers into loyal season ticket holders

Database Management & Sales Operations
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in ticketing and CRM systems
● Conduct regular follow-up calls and check-ins with prospects at various stages of the sales cycle
● Prepare and deliver sales reports including pipeline updates, conversion rates, and revenue projections
● Collaborate with Director/VP of Ticket Sales on territory management and account assignment strategies
● Support game day sales operations including will-call assistance and on-site customer service
● Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge

Market Development & Relationship Building
● Research and identify potential new market segments and customer demographics specific to Dallas volleyball community
● Build referral networks with local sports retailers, fitness centers, and volleyball facilities
● Develop relationships with corporate decision-makers for employee appreciation and client entertainment opportunities
● Create authentic connections with customers that extend beyond transactional relationships
● Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform pricing strategies and package development
● Support special promotional campaigns and flash sales to drive urgency and immediate revenue

Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and sales experience
● 1-2 years of proven sales experience with track record of meeting or exceeding targets
● Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer base
● Experience with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and sales database management
● Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and consultative sales techniques
● Knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth market and local business community preferred
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and community events

Preferred Qualifications
● Previous experience in sports ticket sales or sports/entertainment industry
● Background in volleyball or women's sports with understanding of fan demographics
● Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) to effectively serve diverse Dallas market
● Experience with group sales, corporate sales, or B2B relationship development
● Existing network within Dallas sports, business, or volleyball communities
● Customer service experience in high-touch, relationship-focused environment

Team & Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Director/VP of Ticket Sales and collaborates closely with Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Customer Service teams.

Location & Expectations
Position based in Dallas, Texas with significant time spent in the field meeting with prospects and attending community events throughout the DFW metroplex. Evening and weekend availability required for games, community events, and client entertainment. Some travel may be required for league events.
