Position Overview
We’re hiring a Manager, Ticket Operations to build and run Dallas Pro Volleyball’s ticketing function end-to-end—owning seat maps and manifests, pricing, inventory, policies, and service. You’ll partner with our primary ticketing provider, revenue team, marketing, and venue ops to deliver a simple, mobile-first buying and entry experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Systems & Setup: Lead implementation with our ticketing provider; configure seat maps, price codes, holds/kills, bundles, and access rules.
  • Pricing & Inventory: Build pricing ladders, manage dynamic pricing, and allocate inventory across season, partials, groups, and single-game.
  • On-Sale Management: Own timelines, presales, offers, and promo codes; QA the path to purchase across web/mobile.
  • Policies & Compliance: Establish comps/discount policies, terms & conditions, refund/exchange rules; ensure PCI and data-privacy compliance.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Stand up dashboards for sales pace, conversion, scan rates, attendance, revenue, and yield; deliver weekly and post-event recaps.
  • Service & Account Management: Oversee box office and remote support; resolve escalations; maintain SLAs; partner on renewals and group servicing.
  • Access Control: Manage mobile ticketing, ticket transfer, scanners, and ingress plans with venue security/ops; optimize gate staffing and wayfinding.
  • Promotions & CRM: Coordinate offer setup and tracking with Marketing; integrate data with CRM; build lists and segments for campaigns.
  • Third-Party Distribution: Manage marketplaces, affiliates, and consignment; protect brand and pricing integrity.
  • Gameday: Lead will-call, credential pickups (ticketed), issue resolution, and real-time reporting from doors open to final whistle.
  • People & Vendors: Schedule part-time box office staff; manage ticketing vendor relationship and SOWs.

Required Qualifications
  • 4–7+ years in ticket operations/box office for sports, live events, or venues.
  • Expert proficiency with a major ticketing platform (e.g., Ticketmaster/AXS/SeatGeek/etc.) and access control.
  • Strong command of pricing strategy, manifests, discounts, and inventory management.
  • Analytical mindset; build clean dashboards (Excel/Sheets; bonus for Tableau/Looker).
  • Customer-first problem solver; cool under pressure on high-traffic onsales and gamedays.
  • Familiarity with CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), payment gateways, and mobile ticketing best practices.
  • Willing to work nights/weekends/holidays as events demand.

Team & Reporting Structure
This position reports to the VP of Ticket Sales and collaborates closely with Corporate Partnerships, Operations, and Player Personnel departments. The role includes budget management responsibility and potential for team growth as franchise develops.

Location & Expectations
Position based in Dallas, Texas with regular travel throughout the DFW metroplex for events, media appearances, and community engagement. Some national travel for league meetings and industry conferences. Evening and weekend work required during season for games and events.
