Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) is a women’s professional lacrosse league in North America, composed of four teams rostered by the best players in the world. Position Overview:
The WLL is seeking an Operations Manager for the Lacrosse Product team. This role will take the lead on providing a professional, top-notch experience for our athletes. Along with the lacrosse team, they will oversee all player and lacrosse-related logistics, including, but not limited to: travel, food, hydration, transportation, hotels, and practices. They will manage the Club Liaisons and serve as a resource for the players and coaching staff. They will help lead on the product and competition aspects of the WLL.
Qualifications:
Product and competition:
- Lead annual and long-term rule evaluation and implementation.
- Manage coaches and officials year-round, including regular check-ins and evaluations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for player agents; manage records and facilitate follow-up.
- Drive College Draft planning and Rookie Symposium execution.
- Manage All-Star, End-of-Year Awards, and Hall of Fame voting processes.
- Oversee roster management and communication systems, including free agency, contracts, and all player movement.
Operational responsibilities:
- Attend all event weekends to oversee player logistics (travel, meals, hydration, transport, uniforms, equipment, media, practice fields).
- Manage Club Liaisons and ensure consistent delivery of the player experience.
- Approve player travel and enforce travel booking processes.
- Assist with equipment and uniform/apparel ordering and fulfillment. Additionally, be able to track against the allocated spend for each brand.
- Work with the PLL operations team to ensure practice fields are set up and meet WLL standards.
- Support off-season operations, including hiring/training Club Liaisons, evaluating amenities, and enhancing player programs.
- Source vendors and place meal orders while tracking costs, monitoring preferences, and ensuring timely service for athletes and staff.
- Lead the communication of weekly itineraries for all teams, including weekend schedules, key locations, and any additional information essential for a smooth game weekend.
Player engagement:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with players, coaches, and officials.
- Support partnerships that serve player needs in- and off-season.
- Manage player requests and appearances.

Compensation:
- $60,000-$70,000 per year
- Based on the candidate’s experience, and seniority
