Position Overview
The Premier Lacrosse League is seeking a Ticket Sales Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Ticket Marketing team. This full-time, seasonal role will play a key part in driving ticket revenue, strengthening fan engagement, and executing best-in-class marketing campaigns across all PLL markets.
The Coordinator will work closely with the Ticket Sales Marketing Manager to plan, build, and execute campaigns that connect fans to the live event experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for lacrosse and live sports/event marketing. This person thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment where priorities can shift quickly across multiple markets and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of omnichannel ticket sales campaigns.
- Manage campaign timelines, asset trafficking, and coordination across internal and external teams, ensuring seamless campaign execution.
- Build and traffic campaign briefs, ensuring creative and messaging are on brand and optimized for conversion.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist in post-campaign analysis to identify key learnings and improvements.
Data Tracking & Performance Analysis
- Track campaign performance across channels and maintain dashboards with a focus on key KPIs
- Analyze data to surface actionable insights that inform ticket marketing strategies.
- Partner with the Ticket Sales Marketing Manager to support ongoing testing, optimization, and reporting initiatives.
Grassroots & Market-Level Marketing
- Support the development and execution of grassroots strategies for each market, outlining specific tactics for data capture and ticket conversion through local events, partnerships, and community engagement.
- Serve as a key point of contact for venue partners, local media, and CVBs to coordinate grassroots activations and local marketing efforts.
- Partner with internal and external teams to manage the creation and delivery of localized assets, ensuring campaigns launch seamlessly and on schedule in every market.
- Support tracking and measurement of local marketing impact to inform future strategies.
Audience Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand fan demographics, behaviors, and ticket purchase drivers across all PLL markets.
- Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify new opportunities and best practices.
- Assist in developing and refining audience segmentation and targeting strategies that drive qualified ticket buyers and maximize campaign efficiency.
Creative & Content Support
- Draft and proof engaging copy for a variety of ticket sales marketing materials including email, social, paid, and grassroots campaigns.
- Support the translation of marketing ideas into clear creative direction, collaborating with designers to bring campaigns to life through strong visual storytelling.
- Draft creative briefs that articulate campaign goals, messaging, and design requirements.
- Review and proof creative deliverables for accuracy, tone, and visual impact.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sports, entertainment, or related fields (internship experience included).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting and communicating data insights.
- Passion for sports, live events, and fan building.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building ticketing or event marketing campaigns.
- Basic design or creative production skills (Canva, Photoshop) a plus.
- Working knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Braze, Mailchimp).
- Experience with Project Management Software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira)
- Understanding of paid media and digital advertising.
