Position Overview:
The Ticket Operations Coordinator provides essential support to the Ticketing department across event configuration, game-day operations, and reporting. This position is responsible for the setup and maintenance of ticketed events, service charges, promotions, and inventory within the ticketing system for all PLL events throughout the touring season.
Working closely with the Ticketing Operations Manager and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Partnerships, and Fan Experience, the Coordinator ensures operational excellence on event days and provides the data and reporting that support pricing and revenue decisions. Duties & Responsibilities
Event Operations
- Build new events, price codes, promo codes, offers, and packages in the ticketing system (Ticketmaster/Paciolan) as directed.
- Manage real-time inventory adjustments, holds, kills, and releases during on-sales and event days.
- Serve as primary on-site ticketing contact, resolving all ticket issues including reprints, scan discrepancies, and access control troubleshooting.
- Monitor access control systems to ensure proper scanning and gate operations at all PLL events.
- Track and reconcile attendance for all events, including pre-sales, walk-ups, promotions, and complimentary tickets.
Reporting & Analytics Support
- Generate post-event recaps and attendance reports for Finance, Marketing, and league leadership.
- Pull and organize data from the ticketing system to support pricing analysis and revenue reporting.
- Assist in maintaining dashboards and reporting tools used by the Ticketing department.
- Use Excel and other tools to create ad-hoc reports as needed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Marketing and Partnerships to set up ticket discounts, promotions, group offers, and partner allocations.
- Act as a liaison between the league and ticketing providers (Ticketmaster, Paciolan) on system configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support system upgrades, testing of new software features, and routine maintenance.
- Assist in training venue staff and seasonal box office personnel on ticketing systems and event-day procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the Ticket Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, venues, and external partners.
- Adaptability — Ability to multitask while organizing, preparing, and executing responsibilities across a touring schedule.
- Problem Solving — Resolve ticketing issues quickly and creatively under event-day pressure.
- Detail Orientation — Highly organized with a commitment to accuracy in event setup, reporting, and reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 1–3 years of ticket operations or box office experience; professional sports or live events preferred.
- Experience with Ticketmaster platforms (Host, Archtics, Account Manager) and/or Paciolan.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel; comfort with reporting tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to all PLL event weekends and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- $40,000 – $60,000 base salary
- Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
