Position Overview
The Premier Lacrosse League is seeking a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about shaping the future of sports engagement. You’ll define the standards for quality, scalability, and innovation in sports engagement, delivering seamless and data-informed experiences that elevate fandom. You will be at the forefront of designing user experiences for the PLL’s digital products, working across mobile, web, and fantasy to deliver seamless, engaging, and visually compelling fan experiences.

Qualifications
  • Strategic Design Leadership: Own end-to-end design strategy across the PLL App, Website, and Fantasy products—from discovery research and information architecture to polished, production-ready UI.
  • Design Sense: Create scalable, consistent design systems, component libraries, and prototypes that enable rapid iteration and cross-team alignment.
  • User-Centered Design: Translate fan needs, product goals, and data insights into intuitive, delightful experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers to align design decisions with strategic business objectives.
  • Brand & Experience Innovation: Push the boundaries of sports product design, ensuring all digital experiences reinforce PLL’s brand identity while exploring new patterns and modalities.
  • Fan Empathy: Bring deep curiosity about fan behaviors, motivations, and sports culture to every design decision.
  • AI-Native Approach: Pioneer the use of AI tools to accelerate workflows, ideate novel experiences, and drive personalization at scale

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product design (sports, entertainment, or consumer apps preferred) with a proven track record of leading design initiatives
  • Deep Experience with Figma (component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products with high-quality UI/UX
  • Experience designing for both mobile and web
  • Comfort collaborating with engineers on implementation details & design to engineering handoffs
  • AI-native mindset: Proficiency with AI design/ideation tools and curiosity in using AI to enhance user experience
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills & ability to advocate for design decisions with cross-functional partners

Compensation: 
  • $95K - $115K
  • Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
  • The total compensation package includes Annual Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Mental Health Stipend, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
