Position Overview:
The Office Operations & Employee Experience Internship Intern will support the daily operations of our New York office, creating a positive, efficient, and engaging workplace environment. You’ll be at the center of the action in our NYC office, helping create an environment that reflects PLL’s energy, culture, and team first mentality.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, people-focused, and interested in learning Office functions and People Operations functions. The intern will collaborate closely with the broader People Ops team to assist with office logistics, event coordination, onboarding, and internal communication initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in an office environment.
- Friendly demeanor with an interest in people and culture.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) required; familiarity with Slack and project management tools a plus.
- Available to work onsite in the New York office throughout the internship term.
Requirements:
- Act as a go to resource for employees, helping ensure a smooth and positive in office experience.
- Own the day to day office experience, including supplies, snacks, and overall environment.
- Coordinate maintenance needs with building management.
- Help manage office access, visitor coordination, and internal office communications.
- Support office safety protocols and assist with emergency preparedness initiatives.
- Support the rollout of People Ops and other initiatives across the New York office.
- Help plan and execute team events and celebrations.
- Assist with maintaining People Ops resources (e.g., onboarding guides, office one-sheeters, employee directories specific to New York).
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding logistics for employees who will be in the office.
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects that strengthen PLL’s culture and operations.
