Position and Responsibilities Overview:
The PLL is seeking a talented rising professional for a marketing and editorial internship for the 2024 season from May - September. Interns will work closely with our marketing team on: Email marketing, SMS marketing, direct mail, and digital marketing. This is an internship role estimated at 40 hours per week that will require a self-starter mentality and a strong desire to make an impact for the league’s 2024 season. This is a paid internship.

Qualifications:
  • Current or recent marketing undergraduate 
  • Must have strong writing and editing skills
  • Hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Highly motivated and eager to make an impact on the organization
  • Lacrosse background and knowledge of the league is a plus
  • Ability to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities:
  • Draft email marketing campaigns driving ticket sales, merchandise, PLL App, PLL Play, and league updates
  • Work closely with the design team to request and traffic assets for email and direct mail campaigns
  • Write copy for email, SMS, and direct mail campaigns
  • Run reports on performance across email, SMS, direct mail, and digital campaigns
  • Publish stories to the PLL website

Compensation:
  • $15.00 - $17.00 an hour
  • Based on experience and location
