Position Overview:
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is looking for a motivated intern to help us trailblaze a fan-focused future of pro sports. As our Lifecycle Marketing Intern, you'll draft and send emails, push notifications, and SMS messages to support campaigns across all PLL business units (ticketing, merchandise, app, and youth events) and bring fans closer to the game.

You won't be shadowing or watching from the sidelines. You'll have your own areas of ownership, participate in all team meetings, and be a contributing voice in the decisions that shape how the PLL communicates with its fans. From segmentation and personalization to copywriting and messaging strategy, you'll touch every dimension of lifecycle marketing at the PLL.

Problem solvers who are passionate about crafting fan-focused marketing messaging are encouraged to apply!

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Build campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging (IAM) channels in Braze
  • Assist in the execution of Canvas flows for key fan moments, including onboarding, ticket purchase confirmations, re-engagement, and event promotion
  • Set up audience segments using custom attributes, events, and behavioral data
  • Create personalized messaging templates using Liquid Code and HTML
  • Monitor campaign performance and pull reporting on open rates, click rates, conversion, and revenue attribution
  • Support A/B test setup and help analyze results to surface actionable insights
  • Support the development and delivery of live game-day messaging

Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a passion for creative problem-solving
  • Genuine curiosity about how CRM, lifecycle marketing, and marketing automation work
  • Strong attention to detail, you catch errors others miss
  • Comfortable learning new skills quickly and using a variety of digital tools/platforms. Familiarity with Braze, Klaviyo, or any email/CRM platform is a plus
  • Experience creating marketing assets, designing graphics, or copywriting is a plus
  • Candidate must be willing to take on responsibilities that stray outside of the job description

Requirements:
  • The candidate must be willing to work 4-5 days a week and must be available during weekends.

Compensation:
  • 15.50 an hour

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
