About Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA):
Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) (www.positivecoach.org) is a national nonprofit organization founded at Stanford University in 1998. PCA provides training to coaches, youth athletes, parents, and youth sports organization leaders on how to use the youth sports experience to teach positive character traits and life lessons. PCA is headquartered in Mountain View (CA) and has 18 chapters across the USA.
The Tampa Bay chapter was formed in January, 2014 with seed funding from the Tampa Bay Rays, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Triad Foundation. PCA aims to foster a positive youth sports culture and create Better Athletes, Better People!
PCA-Tampa Bay is seeking a motivated and creative person who is self-driven, takes initiative, is proud and responsible for his/her work, and can work collaboratively on a number of different projects in a day with different staff members.



Description:
   Media and Graphic Design
  • Skilled in graphic design with creativity and understanding of brand guidelines
  • Design marketing and promotional materials for both print and electronic media including invitations, banners, signs, flyers, brochures, posters, etc.
  • Record and edit video, photo and sound projects - including capturing and importing media files, organizing raw files, inserting static and motion graphics, titling and captioning, adding music or voice-over, and general media management
  • Work with content experts to design compelling PowerPoint presentations for PCA and our stakeholders
    Social Media
  • Capture and edit videos and photos of PCA’s programming and community events to create engaging social media posts across relevant platforms
  • Research and identify content that supports our brand and communicates the values and mission of PCA
  • Maximize social media platforms through an understanding of stakeholders and
  • associated analytics with the ability to increase our online impact
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and insights  

Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and web design
  • Proficient in video and photo editing software, desktop publishing tools including Adobe PhotoShop and Spark, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software
  • Understanding of print production and preparing final designs for presentation
  • Basic understanding of copyright and sourcing guidelines

  • Excellent judgment and project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities, coordinate and communicate with staff to meet project deadlines and commitments

Organization and Compensation
This position will report to PCA-Tampa Bay’s Partner Operations Manager
Salary commensurate with experience
