PCA-Tampa Bay - Job Description - Community Impact Manager

• Serve as Community Impact Manager for PCA-Tampa Bay
o Subject matter expert on all PCA content, materials and resources
o Identify opportunities to implement PCA programming with Community Partners (schools and youth sports organizations) to positively impact children and student-athletes
o Develop customized PCA education plan with Community Partners that incorporate PCA’s workshops and key principles to meet specific needs of partner organizations
o Promote ongoing utilization of PCA’s tools and resources by Community Partners
o Track program implementation to insure results desired by Community Partners are being achieved
o Provide excellent client service to Community Partners by maintaining ongoing communication with partner schools and youth sports organizations through program completion
o Identify opportunities to improve and expand Community Partnerships to increase program impact and meet goal of Community Partners

• Primary Point of Contact with Local Professional Sports Teams (Rays & Lightning)
o Integrate PCA programming into Professional Sports Teams community engagement initiatives
o Collaborate with community engagement partners to plan events both at their facilities and within the community
o Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and increase program delivery
o Participate in creation of content for inclusion in workshop presentation and materials
o Identify opportunities to integrate local professional sports teams into the programming being delivered to schools and youth sports organizations

• Collaborate with PCA-Tampa Bay Education and Training Manager to insure needs of Community Partners are achieved
o Project Community Partner needs and provide Education and Training Manager guidance on quantity and quality of existing base of Certified Trainers.
o Support the assignment of Certified Trainers to Community Partners based on experience and sports-specific expertise
o Participate in regular meetings with Certified Trainers to create a connected, cohesive culture ; Identify opportunities to improve workshop delivery with Certified Trainers to insure goals of Community Partners are being achieved

• Manage PCA-Tampa Bay Community Impact Support Manager
o Oversee all job functions to ensure that administrative functions are being performed in timely and accurate manner ; Includes contract administration, Community Partner communications,
and other administrative tasks
o Perform annual review for Community Impact Support Manager

• Participate in PCA-Tampa Bay Chapter and PCA-National meetings, as requested:
o Partnership recruitment/renewal meetings
o Development meetings
o Training/Impact Committee meetings
o Board meetings
o PCA-National Annual Staff Meetings
o PCA-National Youth Sports Awards
o PCA-National Trainer Institute
