Position Summary/Objective:
We are seeking an entry-level, creative and enthusiastic social media coordinator to join our team. As a social media coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the PBR social media presence, implementing engaging strategies, and staying up-to-date with current trends across all platforms.
Role in an office position - must be located in Fort Worth or surrounding area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce engaging content for the day-to-day needs across various PBR, Ridepass, and other associated accounts’ social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create sharp, entertaining copy that encourages engagement and builds an online community with PBR fans.
- Cover PBR events on-site and remotely, capturing, clipping and posting content in real-time.
- Uphold the voice and tone of the PBR that speaks to the target audience.
- Monitor, react and leverage real-time trends and current events and relate them to the PBR brand.
- Assist in the ideation, planning, execution, and reporting of social content on all platforms.
- Aide in programming channel-specific strategies while maintaining knowledge and expertise across all social platforms.
- Monitor, recognize and implement ongoing improvements to workflow and output of each channel.
- Assist in managing social content calendar and programming grid.
- Provide social listening and response to the communities and fans of the social channels.
- Track, evaluate and interpret weekly and monthly performance analytics.
- Provide general office task assistance, including but not limited to, the creation of necessary calendars, recaps, reports, spreadsheets, creative requests, etc.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in social media in a professional setting
- Professional sports team, entertainment property or brand – preferred
- General understanding of how all social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat and other emerging platforms) and their community’s work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
- Strong copywriting skills
- Strong team mentality and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.
- Strong visual eye with regards to the creation of graphics and selection of images for social publishing.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to cover and travel to PBR events as needed.
Education & Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s degree – Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism - preferred
Working Conditions:
- Non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
