Position Summary/Objective:

PBR iis looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team at our Fort Worth, TX headquarters. This role supports the financial management of events across the U.S. and offers an excellent opportunity to combine analytical skill with a passion for live entertainment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing weekly internal event reporting with accuracy and consistency.
  • Oversee day-to-day event-related accounting activities and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
  • Coordinate event settlements by gathering revenue and expense information from various departments and partners to reconcile and close events.
  • Support month-end processes for event accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue recognition.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual operating and event budgets.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Assist with other finance initiatives and special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in a variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and a broad knowledge of accounting systems
  • Time management skills, ability to successfully handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Team Player who can communicate and adapt in a fast moving and fluid work environment

Education & Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (event or entertainment industry experience a plus).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours, Monday-Friday, 4 days in office – Stockyards, Fort Worth, TX
  • Occasional travel or extended hours to support live events
