The Rochester Knighthawks are seeking a Graphic Designer (Part-Time) in Rochester, NY.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing collateral for digital and print purposes. This position will also edit video/motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac based system on a daily basis and assist with video production shoots using cameras and lighting systems when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designing graphics and elements for in-game and digital content
- Create and update graphics templates for marketing purposes
- Assist with digital content creation
- Assist with video production aspects of post-practice and post-game media scrums.
- Edit and organize videos and graphics to post on digital media assets
- Knowledge of Media Asset Management Workflows
- Shoot B-Roll for various video productions
- Execute a wide variety of deliverables including but not limited to social media graphics, digital and traditional advertisements, web components, and marketing collateral
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
- 2+ years of experience in Multimedia field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid foundation of design principles
- Video production knowledge a plus
- Must be able to modify sophisticated multi-layered graphics and keep up with contemporary design trends
- Must have a portfolio and/or demo reel
- Ability to thrive in highly visible, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail, grammar and proofreading skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Must be dependable, willing to take initiative and adapt to a variety of situations
- Possess strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about customer service
- Ability to work independently and in a group setting
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays if needed
Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
The projected compensation range for this position is:
$19 - $22 USD per hour
