The Las Vegas Desert Dogs were launched on June 21, 2021, as the 15th team in the National Lacrosse League beginning play in December 2022. The team is co-owned by Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson, Steve Nash, and Joe Tsai. The team plays at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson.
The Manager of Group Sales will report to the Vice President of Ticketing and will be responsible for generating ticket revenue through the development, sale, and management of group ticket experiences for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs. This role will focus on prospecting, selling, and executing group ticket packages for youth sports organizations, schools, corporate outings, community groups, and special interest groups.
The Manager will build relationships throughout the Las Vegas community while developing unique group experiences that create memorable game day moments and drive ticket revenue for the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION – WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Generate new group ticket revenue through strategic prospecting and relationship development with youth sports organizations, schools, businesses, community groups, and local organizations
Sell group ticket packages, fan experiences, and hospitality opportunities including group seating, birthday parties, fan tunnels, anthem performances, halftime activations, and premium hospitality
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual ticket revenue goals and activity KPIs (calls, meetings, appointments, and group event bookings)
Develop customized group experiences and themed outings that align with the interests of organizations and enhance the game day experience
Identify, cultivate, and close new group sales opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, community events, and grassroots efforts
Conduct sales meetings via phone, video call, and in-person presentations including facility tours and game day visits
Work closely with the Marketing, Community Relations, and Game Presentation teams to develop and promote group-focused theme nights and fan experiences
Work all home games and major events to host group leaders, support group activations, and build long-term relationships
Attend local community events, youth sports tournaments, and networking functions to generate new business opportunities
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM reporting in HubSpot while providing regular sales forecasts and updates
Collaborate with internal departments including Ticket Operations, Marketing, and Membership Services to ensure successful execution of group experiences
Support the development of new group sales programs, youth sports partnerships, and community initiatives that drive attendance growth
Deliver best-in-class service to group leaders to encourage repeat bookings and long-term relationships
