The Manager of Business Development will report to the Vice President of Ticketing and will be responsible for generating ticket revenue through strategic new business development and fan acquisition initiatives for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
This role will focus on identifying new ticket revenue opportunities, converting new fans into ticket buyers, and moving fans through the ticket sales funnel from single game buyers to partial plans and full season memberships. The Manager will build relationships with businesses, organizations, and community leaders throughout the Las Vegas market while developing creative ticketing initiatives that drive attendance and long-term fan engagement.
JOB DESCRIPTION – WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Generate new ticket revenue through strategic prospecting, fan acquisition initiatives, and business development efforts throughout the Las Vegas market
Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities including corporate ticket programs, affinity partnerships, membership programs, and community-based ticket initiatives
Drive new fan acquisition and conversion strategies that move customers through the ticket sales funnel from single game buyers to partial plans and full season memberships
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual ticket revenue goals and activity KPIs (calls, meetings, presentations, and new accounts)
Develop creative ticket packages, partnerships, and promotional platforms designed to attract new audiences to Desert Dogs games
Conduct sales meetings via phone, video call, and in-person presentations including facility tours and game day experiences
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that generate new ticket buyers and qualified sales leads
Work all home games and major events to support in-season sales initiatives and cultivate new client relationships
Attend community events, networking functions, and business development opportunities to generate new leads and sales
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM reporting in HubSpot while providing regular sales forecasts and updates
Collaborate with internal departments including Ticket Operations, Marketing, and Membership Services to ensure successful execution of group experiences
Support the development of new ticketing initiatives, membership programs, and fan engagement platforms that drive long-term revenue growth
Deliver best-in-class client service and relationship management to build long-term customer relationships and retention
