The Las Vegas Desert Dogs are entering their fourth season in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and have quickly emerged as one of the fastest-growing brands in professional sports. Co-owned by Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson, Steve Nash, and Joe Tsai, the organization plays home games at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada.
The Vice President, Marketing & Communications will serve as the architect of the Desert Dogs brand and fan growth engine — overseeing marketing strategy, communications, content, creative, digital media, and customer lifecycle marketing across the organization.
This executive leadership role is responsible for driving awareness, revenue, fan acquisition, retention, and brand affinity by creating a fully integrated marketing ecosystem that converts prospects into passionate lifelong fans. The role will oversee the entire customer journey, from first touch and lead generation through purchase, retention, upsell, and advocacy — utilizing HubSpot CRM, lifecycle automation, paid media, data analytics, and personalized fan engagement strategies.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic brand builder and an aggressive revenue marketer, someone capable of elevating the Desert Dogs’ position in the Las Vegas market while building a modern, high-performance marketing operation rooted in creativity, accountability, innovation, and measurable results.
Success in this role will be measured through ticket revenue growth, database expansion, fan retention, brand engagement, earned media impact, campaign ROI, and the continued growth of the Desert Dogs throughout Las Vegas, North America, and the global lacrosse landscape.
