Manager, Broadcast and Media Partnerships
 
Position Overview
The National Lacrosse League (NLL), North America's premier professional lacrosse league, is looking to hire a Manager, Broadcast and Media Partnerships with responsibility for managing the league’s national and local media rights partners and distribution relationships. The position reports to the EVP of Broadcast and Media and requires liaising with all department heads at the league office and with key executives at each member team.
 
Key Areas of Responsibility
  •  Media rights distribution and media partner management
  • Business intelligence: media analytics and KPI reporting, competitive property tracking, industry developments
  • Strategic scheduling with national rights holders
  • Coordination of the league’s special projects
  • Coordination of sponsorship fulfillment with commercial team and media partners

Responsibilities
  • Working with the league’s national and local rights holders, create audience profile(s) for national and local linear and digital platforms.
  • Develop and manage broadcast game scheduling, commercial administration (traffic), and broadcast related marketing plans.
  • Coordinate media activities between the league, individual teams, and media rights partners, such as broadcast promotion and bulk subscription offerings.
  • Advise individual clubs of local broadcast agreements and compliance with national rights holders.
  • Prepare status updates for all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., BOG, CBO, League Front Office).
  • Generate and prepare data-driven, pre-season, mid-season, and end of season partnership recaps tied to ROI.
  • Project management of the league’s special events such as, NLL unBOXed Series, NLL Draft, and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data-driven viewership analysis and reporting, strategic scheduling, and business intelligence.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working at a professional sports league, national sports television network, professional sports team, and/or national sports and entertainment agency.
  • Focus on strong customer focused relationships with national and local broadcasters, streaming platforms, and content creators.
  • Excellent project management skills: ability to coordinate league special events.
  • Deep analytical and quantitative skills.

The NLL offers company paid medical insurance and participation in 401k.  This position can work remotely.
