The FireWolves are seeking a motivated and team-oriented individual to serve as the PA Announcer throughout the course of the 25-26 NLL season. This role will become the voice of the FireWolves during home games, supporting the execution of in-game entertainment and fan engagement by delivering clear, energetic, and professional announcements. The ideal candidate will embody the FireWolves’ brand through dynamic, family-friendly commentary that excites fans and enhances the gameday atmosphere. Strong communication skills and a passion for sports entertainment are essential, as this position plays a key role in creating memorable experiences and expanding the Oshawa FireWolves’ presence throughout Ontario.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver clear, energetic, and professional announcements for promotions, game updates, and sponsor reads
  • Follow a variety of in-game scripts and adapt quickly to gameplay situations, including goals, penalties, timeouts, promotions, and in-game updates
  • Bring enthusiasm, clarity, and personality that reflects the FireWolves brand to enhance the in-game experience
  • Engage fans through dynamic, family-friendly commentary that supports the FireWolves brand
  • Provide introductions for player lineups, national anthem performers, and special guests
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Work closely with the Director of Game Presentation, DJ, Dance Team, Mascot, and In-Game Host to create seamless entertainment moments
  • Ensure sponsor reads are delivered accurately and with enthusiasm
  • Collaborate with the game presentation team to enhance the fan experience
  • Represent the FireWolves at select community, partner, and promotional events as needed
  • Support the organization by assisting with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must be accessible year-round for all FireWolves home games, including playoffs if necessary
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including working game nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong, clear, and energetic voice with excellent pronunciation
  • Ability to follow scripts, run of shows, lineup cards, and understand game-flow
  • Outstanding level of creativity, energy, spontaneity, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable in front of large crowds 
  • Previous Public Address experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of lacrosse preferred
  • Knowledge about Live Event Production preferred

Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Must be a high school graduate (or equivalent)
