JOB SUMMARY:
The FireWolves NLL are seeking an experienced seller within the sports industry to join our PACK as a Director of Ticket Sales. This individual will be a full-time employee of the FireWolves NLL and have 3-5 years of selling experience, with a focus on all aspects of ticket sales. You will help to create programs that drive ticket sales, ability to work within the ticketing system platform as well as FEVO and other ticketing platforms. Have the ability to run detail data driven reports and as well as being the organizations top sales person. This a full-time selling role and you are expected to make outbound phone calls, set-up face-to-face meetings with prospects, and work events throughout the community. You will also work on all FireWolves NLL home games, outside events as needed as well as weekends, holidays and extended hours.
PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop and manage annual business plan to achieve results including revenue goals, pricing, product variety and other key areas of sales.
- Ensure the ticketing team meets and exceeds established revenue goals.
- Design an engaging sales structure to help with development of sales staff thru training, leadership and providing necessary tools.
- Establish all systems, structures, and reports for the department, including various ticket sales reports (daily, weekly, season, per-game, etc.)
- Directly manage ticketing team by setting and reviewing performance objectives, touchpoint targets and revenue objectives, coaching, motivating, mentoring, and training.
- Must be enthusiastic, creative, charismatic, accountable, integrity and able to think both strategically and tactically.
- Manage departmental budget, forecasting, and resources.
- Lead all ticketing operations, including ticket distribution, game day box office liaison, etc.
- Continue to establish bench mark for ticket distribution through complimentary tickets, vouchers, etc. Plan and execute a strategy so not to take away from ticket sales.
- Focus on selling season ticket packages, group tickets year-round
- Responsible for generating ticket revenue through cold calls, face-to-face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.
- Responsible for meeting hustle metrics and KPI’s as determined by management
- Research and prospect for new business leads
- Renew group ticket purchases
- Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation approaches
- Create new business opportunities through up-selling & referrals from existing clients & prospects
- Effectively follow up with prospects & clients to meet excellent customer service requirements
- Cordially and effectively handle incoming calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales needs
- Ensure customer data and profile information is accurate and detailed in CRM system
- Attend & work community events, representing the team to network and build sales pipeline
- Assist with game day responsibilities of the sales department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of previous sales experience preferred
- Group ticket sales experience preferred
- Proven track record of success driving a team to reach and exceed set goals and metrics
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with coursework in business, sales, marketing, sport management or similar area
- Strong outreach skills and tracking of prospective clients
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively and comfortably with clients at all levels of an organization
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and oral
- Extremely coachable with an eagerness to learn each day
- Charismatic and team player – must work well in a team setting
- Disciplined self-starter and highly organized
- Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to build a career in the sport business
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, holidays, and extended hours in order to get the job completed.
