The Albany FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2025-26 Video Editing Internship Program. The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, creative, and capable of being adaptable among tight deadlines. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects and tasks, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Albany FireWolves home game and must be reliable for developing motion graphics, videos, and other media assets to be used throughout the course of the season. 

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Support the planning, filming, and production of video content including player interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and promotional pieces 
  • Capture live footage from games and events for use in highlight reels and social content 
  • Edit video for multiple platforms, including social media, the team website, email marketing, and in-arena displays 
  • Produce dynamic highlight reels, game recaps, and short promotional videos 
  • Edit long-form content for features, mini-documentaries, and special projects 
  • Incorporate graphics, motion design, and special effects to enhance video storytelling 
  • Ensure all video content reflects the Albany FireWolves’ brand standards, tone, and quality 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts and story boards 
  • Provide support during Albany FireWolves home games and community engagement events 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Albany FireWolves Front Office staff 

Qualifications: 
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field 
  • Must be available to work all Albany FireWolves home games, including nights and weekends 
  • Proficient in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects 
  • Experience with camera operation, lighting setups, and audio equipment in both studio and live settings 
  • Strong grasp of video production techniques, storytelling structure, and pacing 
  • Familiarity with creating content for various social media platforms  
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in both creative and technical work 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team environment 
  • Genuine passion for sports and an eagerness to contribute to a high-energy professional sports environment
