About the Vegas Thrill
Vegas Thrill is Las Vegas and Henderson's professional women's volleyball team competing in Major League Volleyball. The organization is entering a new era under local ownership and will return to Lee's Family Forum for the January 2027 season. Our goal is to build a high-energy, community-connected organization that grows women's professional sports and creates an exceptional experience for fans, partners, players, and employees.

Position Summary
The Marketing Manager helps execute the Vegas Thrill's overall marketing strategy and ensures campaigns, promotions, events, content, and organizational initiatives are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule. This is a hands-on execution position working closely with the Owner, Team President, fellow Marketing Manager, internal business staff, and R&R Partners. The organization's direction and major campaign strategy will be developed collaboratively by ownership, team leadership, and R&R; the Marketing Manager will translate that direction into organized action and measurable results.

Two Complementary Marketing Hires
Vegas Thrill plans to hire two Marketing Managers under this shared job description. We intend to select candidates with complementary strengths: one leaning toward campaign, brand, creative, and project execution, and the other leaning toward digital marketing, audience growth, database, analytics, and performance. Both will be peers, collaborate across the full marketing plan, and receive primary areas of ownership based on experience and organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Campaign Execution
  • Execute marketing plans and campaigns established by the Owner, Team President, and R&R Partners.
  • Translate approved strategies into project plans, timelines, assignments, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Maintain the master marketing calendar covering ticketing, player announcements, home matches, theme nights, community appearances, sponsorships, merchandise, and organizational events.
  • Track deadlines and alert the Team President to missing information, approval needs, or execution risks.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations while respecting the established approval process.
Agency and Creative Coordination
  • Serve as a day-to-day liaison with R&R Partners for assigned marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare organized creative briefs and coordinate assets, feedback, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, printers, media partners, and other vendors.
  • Maintain approved logos, brand standards, photographs, video, templates, advertising, and project files.
  • Prevent duplicated work or conflicting direction among internal staff, the agency, and creative partners.
Digital Marketing and Website
  • Execute approved campaigns across email, website, paid media, and other digital platforms.
  • Coordinate timely website updates for schedules, rosters, announcements, news, tickets, events, sponsors, and promotions.
  • Support email campaigns through content coordination, scheduling, proofreading, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Confirm that links, offers, promotional codes, landing pages, and calls to action are accurate before launch.
  • Report on website activity, database growth, email performance, engagement, and conversions.
Ticketing, Partnerships, and Community Support
  • Work with ticketing to promote season tickets, groups, individual matches, special packages, and theme nights.
  • Support campaigns that convert youth volleyball families, community members, corporate partners, and event attendees into fans and buyers.
  • Coordinate sponsor marketing assets and maintain deadlines and proof of performance for assigned deliverables.
  •  Support community appearances and grassroots programs with promotion, collateral, lead collection, and follow-up.
  • Connect marketing activity to measurable ticket, attendance, sponsorship, and audience-development goals.
Home Matches and Project Management
  • Help execute the marketing and promotional plan for every assigned home match.
  • Coordinate with fan engagement, social media, communications, game presentation, ticketing, partnerships, volleyball operations, and Lee's Family Forum.
  • Use the approved project-management system to document ownership, due dates, approvals, and status.
  • Participate in weekly priority meetings and provide concise updates on progress and obstacles.
  • Prepare campaign recaps with results, lessons, and recommended improvements.

Performance Measures
  • On-time campaign and project completion.
  • Ticket leads, conversions, sales, and attendance support.
  • Website, email, database, and digital campaign performance.
  • Sponsor activation completion and proof of performance.
  • Community reach, audience growth, and marketing return on investment.

Qualifications
  • Relevant professional, agency, internship, volunteer, independent-project, training, or comparable experience will be considered. A college degree is not required.
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns and working with agencies, designers, vendors, ticketing teams, or sponsors preferred.
  • Familiarity with website content systems, email platforms, analytics, project-management tools, and customer databases preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in professional sports, entertainment, agency, events, marketing, communications, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, coworkers, agencies, vendors, and community partners.
  • Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced live-event environment.
  • Knowledge of volleyball and the Las Vegas/Henderson market is helpful but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
