Position Overview
We are building a business from the ground up, and revenue will fuel everything we do.
The Director of Revenue will lead the strategy, development, and execution of all core revenue streams for MLV NorCal, including ticket sales, group and premium sales, and corporate partnerships. This role is responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, building a high-performing sales organization, and creating innovative, fan-first and partner-first offerings that generate long-term value.
This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker, strong operator, and proven seller who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. The ideal candidate is both a builder and a closer, able to design the system and deliver the results.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Strategy & Leadership
Develop and lead the organization’s overall revenue strategy across all primary business lines including ticketing, premium and partnerships- Establish revenue targets, pricing strategies, and sales plans aligned with organizational goals
- Build forecasting models and track performance against revenue goals
- Identify new revenue opportunities and innovative monetization strategies
Ticketing & Sales
Oversee all ticket sales, including season tickets, partial plans, and single-games sales through an innovative and forward thinking strategy- Lead group sales strategy and execution, with a focus on community and organizational engagement
- Develop pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies to maximize attendance and revenue
- Partner with Marketing to drive demand generation and conversion
Premium & Hospitality
- Develop and sell premium offerings ,including suites, VIP experiences, and hospitality packages to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Design elevated experiences that drive both revenue and fan loyalty
- Consistently embody and uphold a “Fans First” approach in all interactions and decision-making
- Lead and manage a hands-on service team dedicated to delivering exceptional year-round customers services for all ticket members
- Establish and maintain a high-touch service culture for all hospitality members, ensuring consistent engagement through personalized interactions and proactive outreach
- Oversee service strategy to ensure a best-in-class experience for premium clients
Corporate Partnerships
- Lead partnership strategy, sales, and execution
- Develop integrated partnership platforms across marketing, content, and game presentation
- Build and maintain long-term, high-value relationships with corporate partners
- Ensure delivery of all contractual assets in collaboration with internal teams all while meeting or exceeding organizational revenue goals
Cross-Functional Revenue Integration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Merchandise teams to align revenue-driving initiatives
- Ensure seamless execution of ticketing campaigns, partner activations, and premium experiences
- Collaborate on storytelling and packaging that enhances both fan and partner value
Sales Operations & Infrastructure
- Build and implement CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting tools
- Develop sales pipelines, lead generation strategies, and sales enablement resources through fan data and additional resources
- Establish best practices for outreach, conversion, and retention
- Develop and manage revenue budget across ticketing, premium and partnership sales
- Establish performance KPI, sales forecasts and revenue reporting protocols
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing revenue team across ticketing and partnerships
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Recruit, train, and develop talent to scale with the organization

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in sports revenue generation, including ticketing and/or partnerships
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience leading and managing sales teams
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales pipelines, and revenue analytics
- Experience in premium sales and hospitality strategy preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules

- Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
- Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
- Physically navigate stairs and catwalks event facilities during work hours and events with or without accommodation
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
- May be required to travel to other team / venue locations
- May be required to travel to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Northern California or in- or out-of-state locations
