Position Summary

The Account Executive, Group & Season Ticket Sales is a high-energy, relationship-driven sales role at the center of the Orlando Valkyries’ revenue operation. This individual is the engine behind the team’s group ticket business and a key driver of season membership growth — building a robust pipeline of new prospects while delivering exceptional service to every existing client in their portfolio.

This role is for someone who loves to sell, thrives on building genuine relationships, and brings consistent energy to their outreach day in and day out. Working closely with the Director of Ticketing & Strategic Partnerships, the Account Executive, Group & Season Ticket Sales will play a central role in growing the Valkyries’ fan base, deepening community partnerships, and ensuring that every group and season ticket client feels like a valued part of the Valkyries family from their very first interaction.

Core Responsibilities:

Group Sales & Prospecting

•      Drive group ticket revenue through high-volume outbound sales activity — targeting schools, businesses, nonprofits, youth sports organizations, churches, and community groups across Central Florida.

•      Develop customized group experiences tailored to each client’s goals, including theme nights, fundraiser partnerships, youth group outings, and hospitality packages.

•      Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new group prospects through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and active community engagement.

•      Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with group leaders and decision-makers to present ticketing options and close sales.

•      Attend local volleyball, school, and community events to prospect and represent the Valkyries brand throughout the season.

•      Meet or exceed individual monthly sales goals and annual revenue targets as set by the Director of Ticketing & Strategic Partnerships.

Season Ticket Sales & Membership

•      Sell new full season memberships, partial plans, and flex packages through outbound prospecting, referrals, and relationship development.

•      Manage a personal season ticket account portfolio — owning the renewal conversations, upsell opportunities, and day-to-day service needs for all assigned members.

•      Execute the organization’s season ticket retention strategy on assigned accounts, maintaining proactive and consistent communication with every member throughout the year.

•      Assist clients with ticket exchanges, upgrades, and special requests with a fast, professional response every time.

Community & Partnership Development

•      Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations that serve as the foundation for long-term group sales growth.

•      Identify and pursue cross-promotional opportunities and community engagement initiatives that expand the Valkyries’ presence and fan base in the Orlando market.

•      Collaborate with the marketing and partnerships teams to develop group sales campaigns, co-branded promotions, and community outreach programs.

•      Represent the Valkyries at networking functions, community events, and promotional appearances throughout the year.

Account Management & Customer Service

•      Manage all personal accounts with a high standard of responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for every client’s experience.

•      Coordinate group experiences and hospitality areas on game days — ensuring every group client feels welcomed, valued, and excited to come back.

•      Maintain regular communication with group leaders and season ticket holders to strengthen relationships and drive repeat business and referrals.

•      Serve as a frontline resource for clients on game days, resolving any ticketing issues quickly and ensuring a seamless experience from entry to final whistle.

CRM & Reporting

•      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all personal accounts, prospects, and pipeline activity in the team’s CRM — consistent logging of all outreach and interactions is a core professional standard for this role.

•      Utilize CRM data to identify sales opportunities, track outreach effectiveness, and continuously sharpen prospecting strategy.

•      Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Director of Ticketing & Strategic Partnerships tracking progress toward individual and team goals.

•      Monitor personal performance metrics and proactively adjust strategies to improve results.

Team Culture & Collaboration

•      Set the tone in the office with high activity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude — this role is a cultural anchor of the revenue team.

•      Collaborate closely with the Manager of Ticket Sales & Operations to coordinate account strategies, share leads where appropriate, and present a unified front to clients.

•      Work cross-functionally with the marketing and game day operations teams to ensure group clients receive a seamless, well-coordinated experience.

•      Support company-wide initiatives and demonstrate a team-first mentality in all internal and external interactions.

•      Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Ticketing & Strategic Partnerships, VP of Business Operations, Team President, and/or Team Owner(s).

Qualifications

•      1–3 years of experience in group ticket sales, season ticket sales, or a related revenue-generating role; professional or minor league sports experience strongly preferred.

•      Proven track record of meeting and exceeding outbound sales targets in a relationship-driven environment.

•      Outgoing, high-energy personality with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

•      Self-motivated with a genuine competitive drive and an instinct for building lasting client relationships.

•      Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and a disciplined approach to keeping records current.

•      Familiarity with Ticketmaster (Archtics) or comparable ticketing platforms is a plus.

•      Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and all home match dates.

•      Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license — active community presence is a core part of this role.

•      Passion for sports, fan engagement, and building community through the game of volleyball.

Education

•      Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

•      Equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
