Position Summary
The Atlanta Vibe is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Revenue to lead all revenue-generating efforts for the franchise. This pivotal role is responsible for strategizing, building, and executing comprehensive sponsorship and partnership programs, driving ticket sales, enhancing premium experiences, and developing commercial strategies to capitalize on the rapid growth of women's sports. The Director of Revenue will cultivate C-level relationships, build a high-performing sales team, and ensure long-term profitability and value through strategic corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate is an energetic executive with a proven track record of successfully closing lucrative corporate partnerships at local and regional levels, consistently exceeding revenue goals in a sports or entertainment environment. This individual should demonstrate success in partnering with blue-chip brands, be a strong collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented setting, and possess an innovative, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Major Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the organization’s overall revenue strategy across all primary business lines including ticketing, premium, and partnerships.
  • Establish revenue targets, pricing strategies, and comprehensive sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build forecasting models and track performance against revenue goals, identifying new opportunities and innovative monetization strategies.
  • Prospect, develop, and sell new integrated corporate partnerships to achieve the Atlanta Vibe's sales and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate deep, meaningful relationships with local and regional decision-makers at brands, leading to long-term partnerships.
  • Deliver strategic sales presentations and tailored business solutions to senior-level executives at prospective clients and agencies.
  • Engage and collaborate with Atlanta Vibe ownership to close deals that deliver value beyond monetary benefit.
  • Negotiate sponsorship deals from initial conversation through final contract execution.
  • Oversee all ticket sales, including season tickets, partial plans, and single-game sales through an innovative and forward-thinking strategy.
  • Lead group sales strategy and execution, with a focus on community and organizational engagement.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies to maximize attendance and revenue.
  • Develop and sell premium offerings, including suites, VIP experiences, and hospitality packages to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Design elevated experiences that drive both revenue and fan loyalty, consistently embodying a “Fans First” approach.
  • Lead partnership strategy, sales, and execution, developing integrated platforms across marketing, content, and game presentation.
  • Build and maintain long-term, high-value relationships with corporate partners, ensuring delivery of all contractual assets.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Merchandise teams to align revenue-driving initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Build and implement CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting tools, developing sales pipelines and lead generation strategies.
  • Establish best practices for outreach, conversion, and retention, and manage the revenue budget across all sales channels.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing revenue team across ticketing and partnerships, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent to scale with the organization.
  • Create and effectively maintain reporting documents, tracking new revenue pipelines and presenting to senior leadership regularly.
  • Attend industry networking and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional partners.
  • Represent the Atlanta Vibe at various business and community events.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in sports revenue generation, including leadership roles in ticketing and/or partnerships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets and successfully closing lucrative sponsorship deals.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Extensive network of C-level and decision-maker contacts within national brands and agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of sports and entertainment sponsorship, including promotions, events, media, and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales pipelines, and revenue analytics, with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Familiarity with standard demographic research & analytics tools (e.g., Scarborough, YouGov, MRI-Simmons) and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and form strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
  • High-level commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
  • Proactive, highly energetic, self-starter with a competitive, results-driven motivation to exceed goals.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
