The Seattle Seawolves are a founding member of Major League Rugby (MLR) and a two‑time league champion. Our Matchday Operations Staff play a vital role in creating a welcoming, energetic, and professional environment at Starfire Stadium.

Position Overview

Matchday Operations Staff support all aspects of Seawolves home matches, including stadium setup, fan experience, guest services, safety support, and post‑match breakdown. This is a seasonal, part‑time role ideal for individuals passionate about sports, events, and creating memorable experiences for fans.

Key Responsibilities

Stadium Operations & Logistics

  • Assist with pre‑match setup including signage, field branding, partner activations, Fan Zone elements, and hospitality areas.
  • Support post‑match breakdown and storage of equipment, signage, and operational materials.
  • Coordinate with Seawolves staff, Starfire personnel, security, and vendors to ensure smooth stadium operations.
Fan Experience & Guest Services

  • Provide exceptional customer service to fans, partners, and VIP guests.
  • Assist with ticket scanning, wayfinding, crowd flow, and general guest inquiries.
  • Support Fan Zone activities, sponsor activations, and community engagement elements.
  • Uphold Seawolves values of inclusivity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions.
 

Matchday Support

  • Assist with on‑field operations, including halftime activations, and escorting talent or performers.
  • Support media, broadcast, and press operations as needed.
  • Monitor fan areas to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment and escalate issues when appropriate.
Availability 

  • Applicants must be available for all 2026 home matches.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment for several hours.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
  • Previous experience in sports, events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required.
  • Must be available for all Seawolves home matches (February–June), including evenings and weekends.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $22/hr.
  • Seawolves matchday staff apparel provided.
  • Opportunities for additional event shifts throughout the season.
