About the Role
Old Glory DC, the professional Major League Rugby team representing the DMV, is seeking energetic and reliable Game Day Interns to support press box and match operations during the 2026 season at George Mason University.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in live sports production, game presentation and event operations. Interns will work closely with full-time staff and game day leadership in a fast-paced, real-world environment and will be directly involved in how the match experience comes to life for fans, sponsors, and broadcast partners.

This is an in-person, game-day-only opportunity.

What You’ll Do
• Assist full-time staff with preparing and executing the official match script
• Support press box operations before and during the match
• Help ensure all video board assets are uploaded, organized and ready for use
• Assist with operating the stadium video board with a focus on fan experience, sponsor fulfillment, and in-game moments
• Coordinate with promotions and game presentation staff to execute on-field and sponsorship activations during pre-game and halftime
• Assist with live stat tracking and match notes
• Operate or support live camera coverage to capture fan engagement and in-game action
• Assist the marketing team with post-match recaps and content needs
• Support post-match media needs including interviews with players and coaches when needed
• Assist with match-day setup and teardown as required
• Act as a general support resource in the press box and game operations areas

Schedule & Commitment
• Must be available for all Old Glory DC home matches
• Games are primarily weekends with varying call times
• Typical commitment includes pre-game setup, match time, and post-game wrap

2026 Home Matches
All matches held at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA:
• Sunday, April 26 – 7:00 PM
• Sunday, May 10 – 4:00 PM
• Sunday, May 17 – 7:00 PM
• Saturday, May 30 – 4:00 PM
• Saturday, June 6 – 4:00 PM

Additional Details
• This is an unpaid internship / volunteer role
• No remote work or relocation assistance available
• Candidates must be able to commute to George Mason University
• Interns will receive hands-on experience, professional references upon successful completion and exposure to a professional sports organization
