About Us: The New England Free Jacks are the reigning and three-time Major League Rugby (MLR) champions for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons. Located in Quincy, Massachusetts, our team is dedicated to nurturing talent, promoting inclusivity, and achieving rugby excellence. We aim to provide university students with a unique hands-on opportunity to be part of our dynamic organization. Internships are intended to be completed to fulfill course credit requirements.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have practical experience or skill development in sports management. On site in-person availability in our Quincy, MA office is required from February 2026 to June 2026 (25-40 hours per week, including early starts and weekends.) Candidates will bring a "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to excel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and implement program logistics to support a high-performance team environment.
- Develop systems and processes that improve program function.
- Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down field sessions, intra-session management, nutrition and equipment support, and match day assistance.
- Learn about managing a professional sports team, the front-end preparation, and systems required for success.
- Other duties as assigned.
