Overview: The Free Jacks marketing internship is an introductory marketing role for students looking to break into the sports industry and gain valuable experience. Interns will work directly with the Director of Marketing and the Director of Media & PR in all areas of our marketing program, including branding, content creation, social media, and email marketing.  Interns are expected to be a part of the program for its entirety, which runs February through June. Interns will work 10-15 hours per week which can include office work, remote projects, outside events, and matchdays. Internships are intended to be completed to fulfill course credit requirements.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates will be looking to break into the sports industry and have an interest in exploring if marketing is an ideal path for them. They will be self-motivated and hardworking, and bring meticulous attention to detail. Curiosity, a dedication to learning, and resourcefulness will enable the ideal candidate to get the most out of their experience. A familiarity with the Adobe suite or similar editing software is preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·       Support the marketing team in planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives
·       Assist the marketing team with the creation of marketing assets including but not limited to game day templates, graphic design, and development of promotional materials
·       Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
·       Play a role in the preparation of campaigns and reports
·       Handle inbound requests from vendors, partners, customers, and clients
