The Houston SaberCats, Houston's professional rugby team, are seeking a reliable and organized Accounting Intern to assist our finance team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of professional sports. Responsibilities:
- Assist with filing and organizing financial documents.
- Provide general support for the accounting department as needed, including completing tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in/pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
- Interest in sports business and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
Internship Details:
- Duration: Fall 2025 (September – December)
- Schedule: Flexible; approximately 5–10 hours per week.
- Compensation: Unpaid; for college credit only.
