About Major League Cricket
Major League Cricket (MLC) is the premier professional T20 cricket league in the United States, bringing the world’s most exciting and dynamic sport to America. Established to elevate cricket's presence in the U.S., MLC showcases top-tier competition featuring international stars, emerging domestic talent, and franchise teams representing iconic cities across the nation.

Through its interconnected commercial rights and responsibilities including Minor League Cricket, as well as the USA men’s and women’s national teams, MLC is not just a league; it’s a movement to bring one of the world’s most popular sports to a new frontier. With global partnerships, investments from leading cricket organizations, and a commitment to excellence, we are redefining the future of cricket in America.

The Opportunity
Major League Cricket is seeking a highly organized and operationally adept Marketing Coordinator for a fixed-term contract to support the delivery of MLC’s fourth season, scheduled to take place from 18 June to 18 July 2026. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will provide critical execution support across integrated marketing campaigns, e-mail marketing, print production and match-day activations.

You will be the connective tissue that keeps campaigns moving and executes key marketing initiatives across our host cities. While the role is anchored in marketing operations and reporting, you will also serve as a versatile contributor who can support other marketing initiatives, including content capture and copywriting.

Why Join MLC?
We are at a defining moment for cricket in the United States. Season 4 of Major League Cricket is expanding to the Los Angeles market for the first time, as well as staging the playoffs and championship match at the iconic Oakland Coliseum.

The U.S. Men’s National Team recently competed in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India, and most significantly, cricket will return to the Olympic stage at the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games, catapulting the sport into a new era of global visibility and commercial opportunity.

You’ll join a dynamic marketing team, contributing to the growth of a rising sport, and gaining hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic sports markets in the world.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Project Support

  • Maintain an organized library of marketing assets and digital content in Google Workspace, ensuring materials are current, clearly filed, and accessible across departments.

Email Marketing & CRM
  • Manage end-to-end production of fan newsletters and promotional emails via Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Monitor email performance metrics including open rates, click-through, and conversion, surfacing insights to inform future send strategies.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Utilize Meltwater (or equivalent platform) to track media coverage and brand sentiment across key markets.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports on marketing KPIs and digital engagement for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare post-event recaps and insights following each match window to inform future campaign strategies

Print Production & Asset Coordination
  • Oversee the production and logistics of physical marketing assets, including stadium banners, brochures, and promotional signage across match venues.

Ideal Candidate

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs (e.g., boxes of merchandise, folded banners, or activation equipment).
  • Working knowledge of cricket preferred; genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the nuances of the sport quickly are essential.

Skills & Attributes
  • Highly organized and disciplined, with strong project management instincts and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, including an ability to interpret data to produce actionable reports with an exacting eye for accuracy.
  • Versatile and ‘hands-on’, with an ability to transition seamlessly between technical tasks (reporting, e-mail production), operational tasks (activation set-up, on-ground tasks), and creative tasks (copywriting, in-venue filming).
  • Operationally flexible, acknowledging the rigorous travel schedule and non-traditional hours required by a live-event sports league.
  • Strong written communication skills across email, social media, and internal reporting formats.
