Position Summary
LOVB Nebraska is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented individual to our Corporate Partnerships team to support the continued growth of our partnership portfolio. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and securing new brand partnerships while contributing to the development of creative, impactful collaboration opportunities for partners.
Working closely with the VP of Marketing and the Manager of Partnerships & Sponsorships, this role will lead proactive outreach efforts, develop compelling partnership proposals, and help ensure partners experience meaningful engagement with LOVB Nebraska. This position is ideal for a seasoned partnership professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships that drive long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Sales & Business Development
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective partners across local, regional, and national brands.
- Identify new partnership opportunities that align with LOVB Nebraska’s brand and business objectives.
- Lead partnership conversations, presentations, and negotiations with prospective partners.
- Develop customized partnership proposals and presentations that align brand objectives with LOVB Nebraska platforms and assets.
- Maintain strong knowledge of sponsorship inventory, asset valuation, and partnership opportunities across the organization.
Partnership Strategy & Development
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative sponsorship ideas and activation concepts.
- Contribute to the development of partnership sales materials, pitch decks, and proposal templates.
- Utilize CRM systems to track prospecting activity, pipeline progress, and partnership opportunities.
Partner Experience & Activation
- Support the activation and execution of partner programs to ensure a high-quality partner experience.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, game presentation, and operations teams to deliver on partnership elements.
- Assist in maintaining strong partner relationships through proactive communication and thoughtful engagement.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, or sports marketing.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and convert opportunities into meaningful partnerships.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build compelling partnership proposals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify creative solutions for partners.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
- Ability to collaborate across departments while managing multiple priorities.
Education & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in partnership sales, sponsorship development, or sports marketing required.
- Prior experience in professional sports, media, entertainment, or sports marketing strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation and partnership development.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Reporting Structure
This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing, LOVB Nebraska and works closely with the Manager of Partnerships & Sponsorships and cross-functional members of the LOVB Nebraska team.
