The On-Field Host / Emcee / Hype person is a key member of the gameday operations crew, responsible for improving fans' in-game experience leading the execution of all fan-facing pregame activities and in-game promotions. The ideal Host/Emcee must be energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic and be comfortable engaging large crowds and fans of all ages.
The Host/Emcee will report directly to the Director of Operations and General Manager and work alongside the gameday operations crew to ensure a high-quality production.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong stage presence and comfortable engaging large crowds.
- Ability to memorize scripts with the capacity to improvise.
- Ability to plan and execute fan activations and music selection.
- On-camera experience is a plus.
Working as the emcee requires you to be the primary entertainer for the team during all Empire home games on weekends between late April and July.
Compensation: $50/hr
