The Data Analytics/Film Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Wind Chill coaching staff in analyzing game data, filming practice, and consolidating game film. This position is designed for individuals passionate about sports and data analytics, offering a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a professional team’s game preparation.
The intern will also assist with Game Day Operations. Perks include a free staff shirt and a stipend payment for each game. The intern will arrive approximately 2.5 hours before game start time to assist with venue preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with coaching staff to create and execute various data analytics projects to help the team identify useful trends and prepare for upcoming games.
- Assist with consolidating Wind Chill and upcoming opponent game film for players and coaches to utilize while preparing for upcoming games.
- Attend approximately Tuesday evening team practices to film drills/scrimmages using a provided drone.
- Assist with ticketing, merchandise sales, and in-game activations at Wind Chill home games.
Qualifications:
- College student, or recent college graduate preferred.
- Proficiency and experience in data analytics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for ultimate frisbee and sports is highly desirable.
