POSITION OVERVIEW:
Atlanta Hustle AUDL LLC is committed to partnering with colleges and universities to provide relevant sports industry experience to students by offering meaningful work practices, consistent with candidates’ career goals. This intern will be responsible for supporting the Atlanta Hustle AUDL LLC front office staff in many capacities, ranging from day-to-day responsibilities in a hybrid remote work environment to game day management.
GOALS FOR INTERNSHIP:

Learn behind the scenes event preparation and operational roles of a professional sports franchise.
Engagement with both AUDL and external operations contacts for networking

Sales & Marketing

Liaise with AUDL Marketing leadership & staff.
Attend and manage In-person Promotions (Youth Events, Stadium, Local leagues, Pickup, City Events, Sponsors, etc.) throughout the year.
Source and contact businesses, organizations, and community groups for Group Ticket sales.
Generate and execute promotional ideas to drive ticket and merchandise sales.
Generate content in various forms: written articles and email copy, supporting images with graphics, clip and format highlights for social media, player interviews and other video content.

Gameday & Ultimate Events

Assist Director of Operations with logistics on all gamedays, including setup, training, and pack out.
Determine Gameday staffing needs, source staff, and ensure coverage on Gameday including operations, ticketing, entertainment, and medical.
Plan gameday logistics including gameday scripts, stadium setup, ticketing, merchandise, etc.
Oversee planning and execution of other events, including winter tournaments, tryouts, and Union training camp weekend.
Source and manage printed materials and signage.
Liaise with stadium partners and all vendors.

Team Support

Coordinate player availability and plan travel logistics for away games including booking travel, hotels, and transportation for players, coaches, and staff.
Manage field reservations for practices (February-August)

REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

1-2 years’ experience in events and/or operations.
Current enrollment in Sports/Business Management degree (or another relevant program).
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Willing to learn the Hustle’s brand quickly and act as an ambassador of our values
Experience showing professionalism expected around professional sports teams.
Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Highly motivated and ability to work long days and non-traditional hours.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
Attend all 6 regular season games (1 playoff game, if applicable) from May-August and local marketing/promotional events February-August.
