Reporting to the Manager of Athlete Career Transition and Women’s Inclusion and the Manager of Corporate Partnerships, this position will assist the National Teams and Business Development Department staff with a wide range of duties related to athlete resources, women’s collegiate growth, and corporate partnership activations. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences for internal USA Wrestling departments.
The National Teams and Business Development Assistant position is part-time (expected average of 15-20 hours per week) scheduled throughout the week, at the approval of the Manager of Athlete Career Transition and/or Manager of Corporate Partnerships. This position is 100% in office, (no remote work) at our Colorado Springs, CO location.
Responsibilities:
- Create educational videos for athlete career transition resources;
- Create content supporting the growth of DI women’s wrestling;
- Assist with all functions of athlete career transition and women’s inclusion as assigned;
- Receive, ship and move boxes of corporate partnership items;
- Assist with all functions of corporate partnerships as assigned
- Assist Fundraising with data entry in department database
The ideal candidate will be very comfortable in numerous computer systems, including a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in and a passion for customer service. Our team provides daily support to the 390,000 USA Wrestling members and this position will actively participate in those activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Experience with photo and video editing is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to learn new computer applications.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build trust, build rapport, and convey empathy.
- Problem-solve effectively and objectively, using discretion and judgement.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift, move, and ship items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to successfully pass a USA Wrestling background screening (prior to hire date).
- Must successfully complete SafeSport Certification within two weeks of hire date.
Travel Expectations: No travel will be required from this position.
Hiring Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour depending on experience.

The USA Wrestling Office is located in Colorado Springs, CO - ability to work from the office is required.
