Position Summary
USA Triathlon (USAT) is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager (Generalist) to support initiatives that strengthen and grow the Multisport Ecosystem, with a focus on Race Directors, Coaches, Clubs, and Partnerships.
This role will oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, content creation, digital engagement strategies, and data-driven analysis to inform decisions, optimize engagement, and improve campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and marketer who thrives in managing multiple projects, audiences, and priorities.
Essential Job Functions
- Content Creation: Develop and distribute marketing collateral, write compelling copy, and manage website content updates.
- Campaign Management: Plan, build, and coordinate marketing campaigns across digital, email, and social channels.
- Email Marketing: Build and deploy targeted campaigns using Marketing Cloud, including newsletters, promotions, and segmented communications with A/B testing and automation.
- Social Media: Contribute to content calendars and manage the production of engaging content (posts, blogs, videos, graphics).
- Digital/Website: Perform regular updates to web content, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
- Data Tracking & Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign and audience data to provide actionable insights, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies for improved performance.
- Business Area Ownership: Lead marketing efforts to engage and grow Race Directors, Coaches, Clubs, and Corporate Partnerships.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing campaigns across email, digital, and social channels.
- Proficiency with tools such as Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and project management platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to optimize campaigns and strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing or communications.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- USA Triathlon offers a hybrid work schedule and requires this position to be on site at USAT headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO at least two days per week
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. The employee may be required to exert force to manipulate or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
