 BASIC FUNCTION:  Assist the Legal Department with creating meaningful content to engage and train its various constituents, customers, and other audiences
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Write, edit, and design content for newsletters, email campaigns, websites, brochures, reports, social media, and other outreach materials tailored to specific constituent groups (e.g., members, volunteers, athletes, customers, etc.)
  • Collaborate with each area of the Legal department (Safe Sport, Associations, Clubs, Sanctions, etc.) to understand messaging needs and goals for each area.
  • Update respective areas of the website, update existing resources, published documents, social, marketing efforts, etc. 
  • Analyze performance metrics (e.g. open rates, click-throughs, social media engagement) to continuously improve content strategies.  
  • Identify and eradicate inconsistencies with current crossover of content.
  • Proactively ensure that all content complies with relevant policies, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage flow of all department email blasts from conception to approval to execution. 
  • Create a comprehensive calendar and implement strategies for maintaining adherence to calendar. 
  • Handle miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned. 
 QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Demonstrated familiarity and experience with marketing concepts, social media, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to new tools.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed business style with strong ability to prioritize.  Must be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and with Photoshop or other graphics software.
  • Ability to organize information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong team player and ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work error free.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.  
  • Work is on-site full time, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Occasional nights and weekends required; some travel may be required. Long hours of continuous concentration.
