Job Description: Events Manager
As a member of the Events team, you will assist in growing and maintaining events of the organization.

Events - Sanctioning, Points & Tournaments

Planning, logistics and execution of events
Setting up tournaments, camps etc. in the registration database
Travel and work at competitions as part of the Events Team
Managing tournament results, setting report times, creating competition schedules and and other onsite tasks
Processing and publication of sanctioned events
Monitors state association compliance and enters results
Monitoring and assisting with coordinating and planning of various camps/programs
Processing, data entry and publication of ranking points
Assist members with registration for camps/events and approving database documents
Updating website event information
Maintains member relationships by responding to inquiries
Maintaining various projects and member recognition programs
Assists with Sport80, Thinkific and ZenDesk in collaboration with Events and Education Team
Assist with approving GALS and documents in the Simply Compete database
Understands and monitors SafeSport compliance requirements

Skills and Requirements

Highly motivated and willing to learn
Organizational and problem solving skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Computer software skills including Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel

Education and Experience

Customer service and project management experience required
NGB Event experience and/or a Sport Management Bachelor's Degree a plus
